December 31-New Year’s Eve- Copper Mountain
Adrenaline pumping entertainment, all your friends, a little fresh snow and a fireworks finale equals a New Year’s Eve Celebration not to be forgotten. The party spirit is alive! Join Copper for a New Year’s Disco evening. Burning Stones Plaza will be transformed into the old 54 featuring a live band and a Big Air show put on by the Copper Mountain Freeride Team. Check out the Big Screen with true Studio 54 clips and a spectacular torchlight parade put on by the Copper Ski & Ride School. Copper is the place you want to ring in 2009! You may even get a kiss at midnight.

The Copper Mountain Business League starts the competition season with a dual Giant Slalom race. Copper Mountain's Business League is the longest running league in Summit County. Teams of businesses, friends and co-workers come out every Thursday to compete against one another. Open to all ages of racers, the Business League provides weekly races against some of the best racers in the county. Complete with weekly after parties, this fun, competitive league allows for every racer to get out on the snow. Each party includes a video from the day's race and great giveaways

The USASA Copper Mountain Series, the largest and longest running amateur snowboard series in North America, celebrates 22 years of amateur competition. January 24 – 28-USSA Revolution Tour- Copper Mountain
The U.S. Snowboarding Revolution Tour is a competition that brings together athletes from across the region to identify the top juniors in that area. Superpipe and slopestyle athletes 13 and older (SBX 15 and older) compete together in an open-class style event. Riders will be ranked overall and within their age classes. USSA regional membership is required to compete and a FIS license or FIS provisional license is also required for SBX events. For more details visit http://www.copperseries.com/
January 27- January 30- Women's Ski Camp-Breckenridge
Get out of your world and in to ours. Breckenridge's best female instructors will both encourage and teach you to ski terrain appropriate for your skill and comfort level. The camp gets started with a Welcome Reception the evening of January 26th followed by four full days on snow. Then, hit the slopes with your group for a supportive, fun day of instruction. Afterwards join us for a treatment at one of the local spas. Video analysis is included. Open to novice through advanced skiers.

Join us for our popular women's only, two-day park and pipe camp. The camp is open to any intermediate and advanced snowboarder or skier who wants to develop her skills in the terrain park and half-pipe. Participants with freestyle experience from beginner through advanced levels will not be disappointed. February 21- February 24- Mardi Gras Celebration-Breckenridge
Kick-off Mardi Gras with a New Orleans Style Masquerade Ball at 9,600 Feet! On February 2nd, join us for the second annual Breckenridge Bacchus Ball! The evening will feature live music from Tiny Barge and the Big Chill, dancing, New Orleans-style food and drink, the crowning of the 2009 Breckenridge Rex and Queen and much more. Then on Fat Tuesday, February 24th, Downtown Breckenridge will come alive with a festive parade procession down Main Street, live music and dancing at local establishments, New Orleans food and drink specials, colorful masks and loads of beads! The procession will start at 4:30 p.m. at the South end of town and head North on Main Street to Lincoln/Ski Hill.

March 6-March 7- Working Women's Ski Camp-Breckenridge
Play hooky for two days and join the ladies for a special getaway. Spend two full days on the slopes as you advance your skiing techniques and learn in this supportive, female-only environment. Unwind after skiing with fellow participants or simply spend the evening enjoying your time alone. The camp gets started with a Welcome Reception the evening of February 28th. Open to intermediate through advanced skiers.

Drop into the pipe. Max out your air. Clear more advanced rails and boxes. Whatever your goals, the Rocky Mountain Park & Pipe Camp is sure to provide you the skills and park time to get you there. Breckenridge has four parks and pipes to match your abilities. The most advanced park and pipe, Freeway, is one of the most highly rated and well-known terrain parks in the country! Our top certified pros are eagerly awaiting the opportunity to coach you in this unique, fun, supportive, two-day camp. The camp is open to intermediate to advanced all-mountain skiers and riders. No prior park or pipe experience necessary. Groups will be formed based on goals and abilities. Two age divisions: ages 7-12; 13 and above. Lunch on the mountain is included each day. Space is limited.

March 29 – 30-Colorado Special Olympics Winter Games- Copper Mountain
The Winter Games mark the culmination of the winter sports season for the 550 athletes who annually participate in Alpine Skiing, Cross Country skiing, Figure Skating, Snowshoeing and Snowboarding. This season marks the 21st consecutive year Copper Mountain will host the event. Copper is proud to be the official winter training site for all Colorado-based winter Special Olympics athletes as well as the official host resort for the Winter Games through 2010.

April 3 – April 11-USASA Nationals- Copper Mountain
Copper has been named the host venue for the largest snowboarding and free ski event on earth - the 2008 and 2009 USASA Nationals. Each year, the top regional finishers are invited to attend the USASA National Championships to compete against some of the best male and female athletes from around the country in slopestyle, superpipe, boardercross, slalom and giant slalom in their quest to become National Champions.

April 12-Easter Sunday – Colorado’s Largest Easter Egg Hunt- Copper Mountain
50,000 Easter Eggs will fill the Village and Mountain this Easter Sunday at Copper Mountain. There will an all ages hunt on the mountain and two kids hunts in the village. Plus there will be special “Copper Eggs” in each of the hunts that can be redeemed for great prizes!
